 Since our first litter in 2009 we have committed ourselves to producing puppies that contribute to the betterment of the golden retriever breed. Our breeding dogs are part of our family, not a kennel.  We have a deep understanding of their temperament, behavior, and health needs, which allows us to produce high-quality puppies that make great pets. .  We only breed dogs that have been carefully selected for exceptional health, temperament, and lineage — ensuring that every puppy has the very best start as a lifelong companion.   While we are not currently active in showing our dogs in AKC events, we believe our pedigrees speak for themselves.  Our lineage is filled with multiple conformation champions, therapy dogs, service dogs,  obedience, and all around every day best friends and companions.  

Kopi Golden Retrievers is driven by a passion for breeding exceptional Golden Retrievers.  We believe in creating a bond between dogs and their families that last a lifetime.

We are a small home-based, family-run program where every puppy is raised in our home with love, respect, and purpose. From daily handling to early socialization, we prepare each puppy for a smooth,  joyful transition into their forever home — and we stay connected long after they’ve arrived.

As serious hobby breeders, we are committed to preservation of the breed and  providing the best possible care for our dogs.  Our dogs are members of our family and the same lineage as your new puppy.  We would not produce anything that we would not be comfortable keeping for ourselves.  Health, temperament and longevity are of upmost importance.   We work closely with new owners to ensure that they have all the information and support they need to provide the best possible care for their new family member.  

Our dogs are health tested per the Golden Retriever Club of America Code of Ethics to include hips, elbows, heart and eyes.  In addition, we also have genetic test done to try to eliminate other health issues that may arise within the golden retriever breed. We hold ourselves to the highest standards in health, temperament, and overall well-being. Our breeding practices are guided by compassion, transparency, and a deep devotion to the Golden Retriever breed. We are selective with placements because we believe every puppy deserves a home that’s as committed as we are. 

We adhere to the highest standards when it comes to breeding. We only breed dogs that are structurally sound, healthy, happy, and have the best possible temperament.  We breed first and foremost for ourselves in order to preserve our lines, and always reserve the right of first pick puppy.  We believe in quality over quantity and only produce a litter a year.  Occasionally, depending on heat cycles we will have two breeding's in the same year. 

We do not breed or sell our goldens based on color.  We do not breed "English Cream" puppies.  Our golden retriever puppies come in shades ranging from lighter cream/gold to darker gold.
