Our puppies are $3500.00, and are sold as pets on limited (no breeding rights) AKC registration/ spay/ neuter contract. They will be vet checked around 6 weeks, issued a health certificate, microchipped and receive their first vaccines. Our puppies always come with a lifetime of support! From birth to the final goodbyes and everything in between.
We are located in beautiful Holland, Michigan where our goldens are able to enjoy walking in the nature trails and enjoy time in the water of Lake Michigan. The nearest airport we can provide delivery to is Grand Rapids, MI. (GRR). We go out of our way to get our puppies to the best families so if location is an issue, please reach out to us to see if we can offer help.
Absolutely! Health is of utmost importance to us and a top priority. We do not do any breeding that we don’t believe will contribute to the betterment of the golden retriever breed. We test hips, elbows, eyes, heart. In addition, we also do multiple other genetic tests to help avoid any other issues that can present within the golden retriever breed. Testing includes OFA hip, elbow, advanced echo heart, yearly eye exams. Genetic testing includes prcd-PRA ,PRA1, PRA2 ,Ichthyosis, DM and NCL. Health clearances for Sire and Dam will be included in your puppy book you will receive on going home day. If you have any questions about clearances, please feel free to ask.
We abide by the health testing recommended by the Golden Retriever Club of America and offer a 24-month contract against genetic health issues associated with the heart, eyes, hips and elbows.
We match prospective families with their puppies as we know our puppies best and have been able to watch them grow and develop over the first 8 weeks. Everybody wants a "calm" puppy. Too many people "choose" a puppy based on appearance. While this is important, it's our job to match the correct temperament to the correct family. We take into consideration individual preferences and if we feel your preference is a good match for your family, we will make it happen if possible. Placement preference is based on waitlist order. Our goal is always a successful relationship between puppy, pet owner and breeder.
Yes, once your application is approved, we require a $500.00 non refundable deposit to reserve your place on the waitlist.
There are huge costs and expenses associated with breeding and raising a litter of puppies. We plan our breeding to accommodate those on our wait list. The nature of your deposit is a commitment. We won't back out of our commitment to provide you with a puppy, in return, we ask that you understand that once your deposit is made, we are counting on you to fulfill your commitment. Deposits are only refundable if the breeding fails to take or if after the birth of the litter, we can not provide you with a puppy of your preferred sex. 100% of your deposits are applied to the purchase price with balance due on or before of delivery of said puppy. We understand that sometimes life events can happen beyond our control. In that case, we are always happy to transfer your deposit to a future litter! The sooner you secure your spot on the waitlist and place a deposit, the better chance you will have getting the preferred sex you prefer.
The decision to add a new puppy to your family is a long term commitment and shouldn't be made hastily and without careful consideration.
